Family Lawyer (junior)

Our family law team deals with the full range of family law litigation – including relationship property, care of children, family violence and challenges to estates.  As litigators with extensive experience, we pride ourselves on providing excellent legal advice and advocacy.

We are looking for a junior lawyer with an interest in family law litigation to join our Whangārei office. This is a great opportunity for someone starting their career to be mentored by a team of experienced litigators.

Key Tasks

You will be working alongside our family law team to:

• Give advice on all aspects of family law;
• Draft court documents and agreements;
• Attend mediations;
• Appear in Court.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a genuine interest in family law.
• Be a junior practitioner with 0-2 years PQE. New graduates are welcome to apply;
• Have a passion for the law;
• Communicate effectively with clients, other professionals and staff.
